INT2 sponsored the ICT Meetup Spring At Ty 2025, held on February 19, 2025, at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Hanoi. The event was co-organised by the Vietnam Informatics Association (VAIP) and 20 professional societies in the ICT sector.
Themed “Breakthrough development of Science, Technology, Innovation and National Digital Transformation”, the event was attended by Minister of Science and Technology Nguyen Manh Hung, five deputy ministers, and leaders of 20 co-organising associations.
The event highlighted Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo, issued on December 22, 2024, which places science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation at the centre of Vietnam’s growth model. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Thuy, President of VAIP and FISU, described Resolution 57 as a crucial foundation for elevating Vietnam’s ICT sector.
Minister Hung emphasised that Resolution 57 conveys a strong message: Vietnam’s development must rely on three pillars – science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation. He noted that for the first time, 15% of the national innovation and digital transformation budget (approximately 15 trillion VND) is allocated to strategic technologies.
At the event, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Vietnam Automation Association, the Vietnam Radio-Electronics Association, and VAIP. INT2 was listed among the sponsors of the programme.
