INT2 sponsored the ICT Meetup Spring Binh Ngo 2026, held on March 13, 2026, at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Hanoi. The event was co-organised by an alliance of 20 professional societies in the ICT and digital transformation sector.
Themed “Breakthrough in institutions, science, technology and innovation”, the event took place amid historic changes to Vietnam’s government structure, with the merger of the Ministry of Information and Communications into the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the reduction from 30 to 21 government bodies. The country was also reorganised into 34 provinces and cities under a two-tier local government model.
Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Pham Duc Long delivered the keynote, stating that “science and technology is not just a sector for development, but the path of development.” He outlined five major tasks for the technology business community: building national digital infrastructure, bringing AI into the public sector, popularising AI for SMEs, exporting Vietnamese technology products globally, and building computing capacity for the AI era.
The event also featured speeches by Mr. Phan Xuan Dung, President of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations, and Mr. Vu Hoang Lien, President of the Vietnam Internet Association, who emphasised that ICT has evolved from technology application into an industry targeting the global market.
INT2 was listed among the sponsors of the programme, alongside Hanel, MISA, NetNam, Tinh Van, Sapo, and HTC Telecommunications.
