The 11th International Workshop on Vietnamese Language and Speech Processing (VLSP 2025) was held on October 29-30, 2025, at the Vietnam Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics (VIASM), Hanoi. The workshop was co-organised by the VLSP Club under the Vietnam Informatics Association (VAIP) and VIASM, in conjunction with the 18th International Natural Language Generation Conference (INLG 2025), under the scientific auspices of SIGGEN, a special interest group of the Association for Computational Linguistics (ACL).
VLSP 2025 featured 11 evaluation tasks spanning speech processing, legal NLP, question answering, and multimodal applications: speech quality assessment, automatic speech recognition and speech emotion recognition, spoofing-aware speaker verification, Vietnamese voice conversion, deep retrieval in the legal landscape, Vietnamese legal assistant with small language models, numerical reasoning question answering, temporal question answering, semantic parsing, medical domain machine translation with limited-pretraining models, and multimodal legal question answering on traffic sign rules.
The workshop was co-chaired by Dr. Nguyen Thi Minh Huyen (VNU University of Science) and Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Trang (Hanoi University of Science and Technology). The scientific committee was co-chaired by Prof. Luong Chi Mai (Institute of Information Technology, VAST) and Prof. Nguyen Le Minh (JAIST, Japan).
